* Jim Caldarella, a senior consultant for i-flex Consulting, has spent much of his 37-year career developing wholesale funds transfer systems for Citibank.
* Dr. Rick Chou, a physician with a family practice in Brooklyn, has a daughter attending the school-age program on Staten Island. He has been active in the community as a member of the Bay Ridge Community Council.
* W. Christian Drewes, an attorney with Kelley Drye, Manhattan, focuses on commercial real estate, bankruptcy, reorganization and hospital and health care. He has experience in not-for-profit organizations and foundations. He is a member of the Bar Association of New York, and is on the board of St. Joseph’s College, New York, serving on its executive and finance committees.
* Stephanie Dussel, a consultant for St. Mary’s Hospital for Children Home Care Division in their quality assurance department, has a daughter in the Genesis School on Long Island. A registered nurse since 1981, her background includes critical care, long-term care consulting and quality management. She joined Eden II in 1998, helping in the opening of its first residence on Long Island and participating in all aspects of the project until its opening in December 2005.
* Laura Moretti, whose son attends the school-age program, manages the accounts of Moretti & Racco Medical Associates, in addition to owning and co-managing a small real-estate company. She has co-chaired the Dr. Anthony Moretti Memorial Golf Outing for the past three years, in honor of her late husband. Each year, proceeds from the golf outing benefit Eden II Programs. She is also involved in the Staten Island dinner-dance fundraising event, serving as journal chair and on its general committee.
* Wayne Roye is the chief technology officer and owner of Troi.net, a city and state-certified minority-owned business headquarters on Staten Island, specializing in the design, installation and support of enterprise computer network solutions. Roye was a board member of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce and is the past chairman of its technology committee. He was awarded a Top “40-Under-Forty” award by Black Business Magazine.
* Lenny Scandaglia, whose son attends the Eden II school-age program on Staten Island, is an account manager in charge of import cargo from China and Southeast Asia to the United States for name-brand designers and retail stores.
Re-elected to the board of trustees were Michael DeMaio, secretary; Gregg Iliceto, treasurer; and Bernardo Pace and Lakshmi Rao-Sankar, vice chairs.
“Eden II Programs benefits tremendously from the commitment and expertise of each of these individuals,” said Joanne Gerenser, the organization’s executive director.
